My favorite dessert place!! The customer service is excellent and amazing!! The place smelled so good!! It is a chill vibe with good dessert!! I'm addicted to the durian mochi!! I've tried the mango and strawberry one too. They are amazing as well but the durian is sooo addicting!! Everytime I go to kearny mesa, I always have to stop by here. Or when I want sweets, I always come here. Come early before they run out of mochi.

Their desserts top my list! Yiko Yiko staff and bakers put effort into putting out a delicious, pretty and unique dessert. They have Asian cake flavors like black sesame and matcha with grape. I love that they don't make them overly sweet and don't put too much frosting. Most of their frosting is whipped cream or cream based. They also serve coffee and other drinks, but I will have to try one on my next visit. It gets a bit busy in here so not sure how fast their drinks come out and whether they have a barista in the back. We brought a group for a birthday last time and asked for so many things like a big ol knife, a lit candle, extra forks -- the young man working didn't get bothered by us and was on top of it! He even said they'd have some new flavors next month in the fall. Looking forward to trying their new baked items!

After dinner we wanted something sweet, so we got the sesame cake and matcha crepe cake. The cakes were very mindful, not too sweet, very generous, double the size of lady M for cheaper. The decoration is cute but the triangle face pillows can use a wash.

Cakes are exactly a promised. #1 Delicious. Not too sweet and handmade with love and fresh ingredients. Not to mention, very very cute and pleasing to the eye; both the cakes and the shop. Definitely a must support store. Read her article where she was stalled due to the worldwide oppressive shutdowns and how she never gave up! https://sandiego.eater.com/2023/3/22/23650561/yiko-yiko-chinese-bakery-asian-desserts-new-opening-kearny-mesa-san-diego For my sisters bday I got 1 small and 2 mini cakes in strawberry, grape matcha ( perfection to me) and salted caramel. My family raved over it even until the next day. You must try this
